Hayastan Grappling Challenge |

On Saturday, Oct 10th. Nick Luongo, Kevin Baxter, and Scott Malta competed in the Hayastan Grappling Challenge. The day started off with a bang when Nick won his first match, arm barring his opponent in 20 seconds. Nick went on to win two gold medals, one in gi and the other one in no gi, and a silver in the absolute division. Kevin got his day moving submitting his opponent in the first round with a triangle that he transitioned into a teepee choke. He ended up winning the teen division and placed second in the Adult division in his weight class. Even though it was Scott's first grappling competition, he did not disappoint, winning his first match in the second round with a rear naked choke. Scott showed excellent ground control, and brought home a silver medal in his division. Pictures are up check out the gallery "audaces fortuna iuvat" "God favors the brave." |

Its back to school again and Trinity Training is starting our fall classes! Ages range from 5 years old and up, and classes are designed to fit anyone's Physical ability. Our kids classes not only fun, they also teach the students important life long disciplines such as respect, self control, and physical fitness, as well as teaching them how to fight. Our adult classes, which start at age 13, are designed more to get the students ready to fight in the ring, octagon, or be able to defend themselves on the street if necessary. Congrats to all of our fighters. Trinity Training came back with 3 wins for the school. We are currently sifting through hundreds of pictures but we will get a gallery up ASAP! Please continue to check back! Update: Images are now in the gallery, check 'em out!

We are sending 5 of our guys to compete in this competition. Weigh-ins are at 5pm and the fights start at 7pm. These are 6 point fights which mean you can use hands feet and knees no elbows. Come out and support our fighters! Tickets are $30-$50, depending on what seat you purchase.
